The Naira, on Thursday, October 13, remained Static at the Interbank or Spot FX market, closing flat at N304.50 against the US Dollar.
The local currency, on Wednesday, October 12, gained 0.08 percent to close at N304.50 against the US dollar at the interbank or spot FX market.
It had on Tuesday closed flat at the spot FX market exchanging at N304.75 to one US dollar same as Monday’s closing rate. It had appreciated by 0.65 percent on Monday, October 10, at the interbank or spot FX market to close at N304.75 to one US Dollar.
Meanwhile, at the parallel market, on Thursday, the value of the Nigerian currency firmed up to N455 to one US Dollar compared to N460/US$ recorded on Wednesday.
Against the Euro, the Naira slumped to N510 in contrast to previous trading value of N505, while N550 was exchanged for one Pound Sterling, unchanged as in the parallel market one day ago.
