IICFIP

The International Institute of Certified Forensic Investigation Professionals (IICFIP) has disclosed plans to train 40,000 people in forensics to aid the fight against corruption in the country.

The Board Chairman of IICFIP, Chief Godwin Oyedokun, made this disclosure during the third Global Forensic Conference and Exhibition in Abuja. He said about 6,300 students have been trained in 120 countries.

Oyedokun added that the institute was working towards training additional 40,000 students in the next two years, adding that the aim of the conference was to introduce forensic knowledge in the country.

He maintained that the training would help curb corruption in the country, adding that with the help of forensic expertise the scourge could be reduced minimally.

“The time to fight corruption is no longer in the future but now with everyone contributing,” he said.
