Goal Nigeria is proud to announce to have reached an agreement with the Higher Institutions Football League (HiFL) as online media partner.
The agreement will see Goal, a subsidiary of DAZN promote the 2019 edition across its digital platforms with weekly editorials, features, news and player profiles. Goal will in turn enjoy first access to management and players post-match, images and other content for promotional purposes.
HiFL will enjoy the benefits of being associated with the most visited football website in Nigeria, which belongs to a network of more than 36 editions across the globe publishing in more than 30 languages.
Speaking about the partnership, Head of Advertising & Partnership Sales, Africa, Mr. Seun Methowe said, “We have been looking for strategic ways to engage the budding Nigerian grassroots football scene and HiFL is a platform that fits into our vision,” said Methowe.
“They have ambition to grow into a successful brand. With Goal’s Online media partnership, HiFL will be able to tell their stories on and off the pitch, to our wide network of discerning users who are obsessed with football.”
“We are excited by the significance of this partnership to every young athletic talent across Nigerian universities and what it means for their professional aspirations,” Adeyemo said.
“We believe that Goal.com’s extensive reach, followership and engagements will further propel them towards their dreams.
“PACE, NUGA and our sponsors including Stanbic IBTC Bank and Premier Cool remain committed to partnerships that will ensure the sustainability of HiFL as one of the most powerful platforms for grassroots football development in Nigeria and Africa as a whole. The PACE Sports and Goal deal would run throughout the 2019 season with an option of extension.”
