Innoson Motors Mulls Local Engine Manufacturing in Next Five Years

Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Limited, has unveiled plans for the commencement of vehicle engine manufacturing to achieve 100 per cent local content in the auto industry.

The Chairman of the Nigerian automobile company, Innocent Chukwuma, on Monday, April 4,  said the company will, in the next five years, commence production of the engines.

The firm is currently doing 60 per cent local content with the assembling of vehicle parts and the purchase of vehicle engines from foreign markets.
