The Federal Government has ordered enormous importation of kerosene to combat the scarcity of the product currently witnessed across the country.
Chairman, Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), Alhaji Sharif Usman, stated that upon arrival of the commodity, no member would be required to lobby or bribe to secure allocation. He added that the price will be less than what the NNPC retail outlets are selling.
“Very soon, the products, Dual Purpose Kerosene, DPK, and Automotive Gasoline Oil, AGO, will be in circulation under the leadership of Elder Chinedu Okoronkwo.
“And when they arrive, each and everyone of us will get allocation. You don’t have to bother yourself because it is time to fight corruption,” he said.
