Ebonyi state governor, David Umahi has handed over N19 million 2016 Prado Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) to each member of the Ebonyi State Executive Council to boost their performance.
Umahi, who handed over the cars to the commissioners in Abakaliki, said that they agreed on N15.5 million for the supply of each vehicle when a dollar was about N300, but the exchange rate later changed the price to N19 million.
The governor had given each of the 24 members of the House of Assembly a Prado SUV in July and his special assistants received theirs last month except a few who are expected to be given alongside the remaining commissioners this week.
