UNIDO Sets Aside N2.6billion For Nigeria’s Infrastructural Development

The United Nations Development Organization, UNIDO, has marked down 12million euro for quality infrastructural development in Nigeria.

UNIDO’s consultant on technical regulations in Nigeria, Abimbola Uzomah, who disclosed this in Abuja when she led UNIDO Technical Regulations team on a visit to the Minister of Science and Technology, said Nigeria lacked quality infrastructure that is recognized internationally.

She said lack of quality infrastructure was responsible for the rejection of most products and goods exported from Nigeria.
