Trading activities at the Nigerian Equity market on Thursday, June 9 reversed the intense downward trajectory that rocked performance of the bourse from Monday through to Wednesday.
The Market Capitalization bounced back with a N64.09 billion gain to close at N9.37 trillion.

Guaranty Trust Bank emerged the most-traded equity, with 34.32 million shares worth N641.94 billion. Unity Bank came second on the activity chart with 29.62 million shares valued at N35.43 million, while FCMB traded 22.16 million shares worth N35.16 million.

Meanwhile, the total volume traded fell by 30.01 per cent to 182.68 million shares, valued at N1.58 billion, and traded in 3,631 deals.

At the close of transactions, investors traded 182.7 million shares in 3,631 deals valued at N1.6 billion.

This was in contrast to the 261 million shares valued at N1.22 billion exchanged in 3,591 deals on Wednesday, June 9.
