The management of Nigeria’s Securities and Exchange Commission, SEC, has announced date of its next Capital Market Committee, CMC meeting.

A statement issued by the apex capital market regulatory agency in Nigeria disclosed that the important meeting will take place on Wednesday, August 8, 2018.

The next day, the committee will address members of the media in Lagos to brief them of outcome of the meeting.

“The 2018 second Capital Market Committee (CMC) meeting has been scheduled to hold on Wednesday, 8th August, 2018 at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island Lagos.

“The usual interface with members of the press will hold the following day being Thursday, 9th August, 2018 at the SEC Lagos Zonal Office, 3, Idejo Street, Victoria Island, Lagos,” the statement obtained by Business Post said.

SEC disclosed further in the statement that, “Attendance to both events is strictly by invitation.”

It emphasised that, “Invited participants are expected to come with their identity cards to be admitted into the venue.

“All invited participants are expected to be seated by 9.45am.”
