Equities Value Recoups N69billion As Trading Rests in Green Zone

The monetary value of the 190 stocks on the Nigerian bourse leaped by 0.74 per cent, representing N69 billion gain to close trading session on Tuesday, May 24.

The market closed with 37 advancing stocks against 18 losers as Dangote Cement Plc led the gainers with N2.92 kobo to close N170.01 kobo per share while CAP Plc closed N2 lower at N38 per share to top the losers’ chart.

The First Bank of Nigeria Holdings Plc rounded off the day as the investors’ delight as the stock with the highest turnover in terms of volume and value, transacting approximately 81.822 million share units valued at N311.242 million in 394 deals.
