The College of Administration and Business Studies, CABS, Azare will soon be acquired and turned into a training school for the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, DailyTrust reports.
The Press Secretary to Governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar of Bauchi State, Abubakar Al-Sadique, in a statement, said that the governor had approved the handing over of the college to the commandant general of the NSCDC subject to the payment of over N2.98 billion compensation to the state government.
“After the successful takeover, staff of the College of Administration and Business Studies, CABS, Azare are expected to be posted to Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic, Bauchi, College of Education, Azare and other relevant government agencies,” the statement said.
