Rencap Securities Top Brokers’ Chart With N9.9billion Transaction Value

 

Rencap Securities Nigeria Limited, last week recorded a total quantity transactions of 662.5 million shares, valued at N9.9 billion, thus representing 13.88 per cent and 18.79 per cent of the top ten market volume and value respectively

This performance saw the firm leading top ten stock brokers activity chart on the Nigerian Stock Exchange, NSE , both in volume and value.

Closely following Rencap Securities, was Stanbic IBTC Stockbrokers Limited recording 352.6 million shares, valued at N5.7 billion. This activity accounted for 7.39 per cent of the total quantity of transactions of top ten transactions traded in the market and 10.82 per cent of the market value.

FBN Securities Limited occupied the third position on the top ten chart, recording 231.3 million shares, valued at N2.69 billion. Its activity accounted for 4.85 per cent of the total quantity of top ten chart traded in the market and 5.07 per cent of the market value.

TRW stockbrokers Limited occupied the fourth position on the top ten stockbrokers’ activities, recording 222.15 million shares. This transaction accounted for 4.65 per cent of the top ten volumes as its value did not make the top ten in terms of value.

Trailing behind TRW Stockbrokers was Cardinal Stone Securities Limited, recording 194.67 million shares valued at N768.78 million. This transaction accounted for 4.08 per cent and 1.45 per cent of the top ten volumes of shares and value recorded in the market respectively.

CSL Stockbrokers Limited also joined the top ten leaders on the activity chart, recording 174.28 million shares valued at N2.4 billion. The stockbroker activity accounted for 3.65 per cent and 4.68 per cent of the top ten volumes and value recorded in the market.

Others that occupied the top ten brokers chart include : EFCP Limited with 149 .6 million shares valued at N8.8 billion; Investment One Stockbrokers International Limited 147.55 million shares valued at N1.9 billion; Morgan Capital Securities Limited 138 .86 million shares and Coronation Securities Limited recording 121.89 million shares valued at N808.6 million.
