Zenith Bank Shareholders Get N56.514billion Dividend

Shareholders of Zenith Bank Plc, on Wednesday, April 6, received N48.665 billion as final dividend for the year ended 31 December, 2015.
The shareholders approved the payment of N1.55 kobo per ordinary share in the cause of the 2015 financial year.

The lender had in the latter part of 2015 paid interim dividend of 25 kobo per share amounting to N7.849 billion to the shareholders.

A leader of shareholders group, Timothy Adesiyan, who commented on the performance of the bank at its 25th annual general meeting held in Lagos yesterday, said in spite of many global challenges, Zenith Bank still able to record a successful report in 2015.

Adesiyan hailed the efforts of directors and management of the bank in reporting growth in the financial.

He advised the bank to avoid regulators sanctioning, saying regulators are making use of every opportunities to extort banks.
