The Nigerian Naira on Wednesday, March 8, remained unchanged against the American Dollar at the black or parallel segment of the foreign exchange market trading at the rate of N460.
Meanwhile at the official interbank or spot fx market, the Nigerian currency remained static at N306 to the dollar. It traded at the rate of N373 to the Pound Sterling and at the rate of N323 to the Euro.
Against the British Pound Sterling, the naira remained at N555 same rate at which it exchanged for on Tuesday, while it exchanged at the rate of N475 to one Euro, same rate at which it exchanged for on Tuesday
On Tuesday, the local currency maintained the same N460 per Dollar like it was on Monday, March 6.
The local currency on Tuesday had strengthened to N555 per Pound as against the N560 rate it was on Monday, March 6. The Naira also strengthened to N475 against the Euro from the previous rate of N480.
At the official market, the currency remained pegged at 305 to the dollar.
