The Naira, on Friday, September 2, dropped 0.47% against the Dollar to close at N314.77 compared to a 0.93% appreciation on Thursday when it closed N313.31 to a US Dollar at the interbank market.
At the interbank market on Thursday, September 1, the spot rate of the naira jumped to N313.31 to the dollar, compared with the N316.24 to the dollar the previous day.
However, at the parallel market, on Friday, the Naira strengthened against the Dollar, as traders sold N421 to one dollar compared to N424 it was sold for yesterday.
The Naira remained weakened to the Pounds Sterling at N542 against previous day’s rate of N540 while N462 was exchanged for one Euro in contrast to N468 on Thursday.
