Performance at the Nigerian Stock Market on Tuesday, June 7, retained an abysmal outlook from the previous trading session.
The loss was attributed to a decline in investors’ confidence which ran through trading activities on the bourse yesterday.
Market capitalization fell by N42.3 billion to close at N9.436 trillion against N12.3 billion to close at N9.479 recorded previous session.
Analysts at Meristem Securities Limited said renewed negative sentiments from investors, following the gains accumulated during bargain hunting activities caused the losses.
Market breadth strengthened when compared to previous day, with 16 stocks advanced against 27 declining stocks.
