The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 648 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of persons who have tested positive in the country to 41,180 .
The NCDC announced this on Monday night through its official Twitter handle @NCDCgov
According to the tweet, the new cases were from 21 states.
Lagos reported the highest number of cases with 180 new cases, Plateau State was second with 148 while Borno, Bauchi and Imo States confirmed the lowest number with one new case respectively
The NCDC also twitted that as at 27 July, 2020, 41,180 cases had been confirmed, 18,203 cases treated and discharged, while 860 deaths were recorded .
