The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the results of Saturday’s presidential elections in Kaduna State.

According to live broadcast of results at the INEC Collation Centre in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), the Kaduna presidential election results presented by Professor Bala Bello Shehu, Vice Chancellor of Birnin Kebbi University, Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) scored 993,445 votes to defeat the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Atiku Abubakar, who scored 649,612 votes.

Registered voters: 3, 861,033

Accredited voters: 1,757,868

Valid votes: 1,663,603

Rejected votes: 45,402

Total votes cast: 1,709,005

APC – 993,445

PDP – 649,612
