Buhari Bows to Pressure, to Address Nigerians amid COVID-19 Pandemic


Days after repeated calls on him to address the nation on the outbreak of COVID-19, President Muhammadu Buhari will finally make a radio and television broadcast to the nation at 7pm today.

A statement by the president’s media adviser, Mr. Femi Adesina, enjoined television, radio and other electronic media outlets to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) respectively for the broadcast.
