The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Lagos State, has commenced door-to-door mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The APC Chairman in Eredo LCDA, Mr Waliyu Ismail, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Wednesday.
Ismail said the exercise was aimed at strengthening the party’s grassroots support and informing residents about the policies and programmes of the administration of President Bola Tinubu.
He said party leaders would use the mobilisation to engage residents directly, explain government programmes and listen to concerns within communities.
“We have taken the campaign to the grassroots because the people remain the foundation of every successful election,” Ismail said.
He said the exercise would extend across communities and wards in Eredo LCDA to ensure eligible voters were reached.
“Our objective is to ensure that we reach the people at the grassroots.
“We are going from house to house and community to community because direct engagement remains an effective way of mobilising support,” he said.
