The local currency, had on Tuesday, August 30, scooped 0.22% against the Dollar to close at N318.14 compared with the plunge of 1.23% on Monday at N318.93 at the interbank market.
Also on Tuesday, exchange rates from the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN showed that the Naira remained stable to the Dollar, selling at N305.5 as on Monday.
However,at the parallel market on Wednesday, the Nigerian currency weakened further against the Dollar, selling at N422 compared to N417 it was sold for on Tuesday.
The Naira also crashed to the Pounds Sterling to sell at N540 compared to previous rate of N534 while N458 was exchanged for one Euro in contrast to N461 it was exchanged for on Tuesday.
