Nigerians workers would be treated to a theatrical experience on ‘workers’ day’, 1st of May as foremost stand-up comedian, Alli Baba would be featured in a genre-crossing performance of a comical play written by Joseph Edgar titled – ‘Loud Whispers’, at Muson in Lagos.
Ali Baba would also be supported by a 20-man cast, featuring other talented thespians.
‘Loud Whispers’, an adaption of Joseph Edgar’s collection of humorous satires celebrating the Nigerian spirit – a story of wits and directness, touches on the prevalent issues that shaped our resolve to keep the unified Nigeria dream alive for the future generations against all odds.
The play produced, by popular on-air personalty, Olisa Adibua, Shina Peller of Quilox and Mofoluwake Edgar was adapted and directed by the veteran thespian, scriptwriter and Artistic Director behind Quebic 4 Productions, William Benson.
Joseph Edgar, an investment banker, has carved niche for himself as a ‘comical’ blogger and he is also writes for a national newspaper.
