Russian President, Vladimir Putin, on Thursday, January 5, 2023, ordered a ceasefire in Ukraine for the first time since last year February when he started to launch offensive against the country.
The ceasefire, which was said to be temporary, according to the Putin leadership, would be on Orthodox Christmas, celebrated this week by both countries.
