Naira Scoops 0.18% Against Dollar at Interbank Market

The Naira gained 0.18% against the Dollar on Monday, September 5, to close at N314.20 compared with a drop of 0.47% on Friday at the interbank market when it closed N314.77 to one US dollar.
On Friday, September 2, the Naira had dropped 0.47% against the Dollar to close at N314.77 compared to a 0.93% appreciation on Thursday when it closed N313.31 to a US Dollar at the interbank market.
However, yesterday, the Nigerian currency remained stable at N305.5 to one US Dollar according to rates obtained from the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN.

Meanwhile, at the parallel market, the Naira weakened against the Dollar, as traders sold at N424 to one Dollar compared with N421 it was sold for Friday.

It also dipped against the Pounds Sterling to sell at N545 against previous day’s rate of N542 while N465 was exchanged for one Euro in contrast to N462 it was exchanged for last Friday.
