Equity Investors in the Nigerian Stock Market recovered a gain of N94 billion on Thursday, June 2, as the market capitalization leaped by 1.02 per cent to close at N9.336 trillion after two days massive loss.
The fresh recovery though very far from the N685bn the market had lost since Tuesday that trading activities commenced for the week, it came as a breath of fresh air for investors.
The stock market started this week’s trading with a loss of N426bn loss which was caused by profit taking by investors, a trend that continued on Wednesday when the market again shed another N259bn to total N685bn loss in two days, experts posited.
