The Naira, on Thursday, September 1, gained 0.93% against the Dollar to close at N313.31 compared to a 0.60% appreciation recorded on Wednesday when it closed N316.24 to one US dollar at the r spot FX market.
Exchange rates obtained from the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, indicated that the US dollar was exchanged for N305 against N306 it settled for yesterday.
The Pounds Sterling sold at N404.2 compared to N402 on Wednesday while the Euro was traded at N340 vs N341 one day ago.
At the parallel market, the Naira weakened further against the Dollar, as traders sold N424 to one dollar compared to N422 it was sold for yesterday.
The Naira remained stable to the Pounds Sterling, selling at N540 same as previous day’s rate while N468 was exchanged for one Euro in contrast to N458 it was exchanged for on Wednesday.
