Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello has assured that his administration will continue to partner with all necessary agencies to bring about development in the state even as he inaugurated the Shea Butter Processing Centre at Tungan Wawa village, Kontagora Local Government Area.
Bello, who spoke at the inauguration of the centre, established through a partnership between the Niger State government and PZ Cussons Foundation said the effort was aimed at women and youth empowerment in the area.
While saying that the centre would complement government efforts at providing sustainable economic environment and jobs for women and youths in the state, he added that the state government has ensured that the initiative would readily find local agricultural raw materials as well as labour for growth and development.
‘’This is a commendable social responsibility project which supports government effort in diversifying the economy by initiating people’s oriented project. The PPP initiative is an indication that the state is in the right path of the people’s oriented projects and programmes for socio-economic development”
