Trading at the official interbank or Spot FX segment of the Nigerian Foreign Exchange market on Thursday, July 27, saw the Nigerian Currency, trading modestly against the United States of America Dollar.
The Naira closed at N305-306 levels against the Dollar as the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN sustained its intervention near the end of trading on Thursday.
However, it shed -2.54% and -3.49% to the GBP and EUR to settle at N412.07 and N367.50 respectively.
Meanwhile, the local currency at the parallel market today, closed at N365 against the greenback.
Against the British Pound Sterling, Nigerian currency however appreciated by 1 point at the parallel market to trade at the rate of N474 from N475, which it exchanged for on Wednesday.
