Kano State Spends N3billion On Environmental Cleanliness

The Kano State government  has said it has spent about N3 billion to purchase various equipment to keep the state clean.

Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje while launching the waste collection equipment on Thursday, May 26, in Kano, said that Kano being a big city must be kept clean in order for it to maintain clean state status.

He said that his administration will tackle environmental issues with all seriousness and that more staff would be employed.

Ganduje said that the state will experience a new method of refuse evacuation whereby 50 tricycles would be used for refuse evacuation.
