The Nigerian Naira, on Thursday, July 27, depreciated in value at the parallel segment of the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market.
The local currency shed one point to exchange at the rate of N365 against the Greenback at the black market.
The Naira, had on Wednesday, July 26, exchanged at the rate of N364 per dollar at the parellel market.
Against the British Pound Sterling, Nigerian currency however appreciated by 1 point at the parallel market to trade at the rate of N474 from N475, which it exchanged for on Wednesday.
The Naira maintained the rate of N424 against the European Singlr Currency, Euro at the black market, same rate it traded for the previous market day.
Meanwhile, the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, last week, sold $195 million into the interbank forex market last week comprising $100 million for the wholesale segment, $50 million for the Small and Medium Enterprises.
