The National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that it will partner with Servicom to improve quality service delivery to youth corps members during their one year compulsory service.
While receiving the acting national coordinator of Servicom, Mrs Nnenna Akajemeli, in his office in Abuja, the director-general of NYSC, Brigadier-General Sule Kazaure promised to upgrade its service charter for better performance.
Kazaure also assured that NYSC would ensure that serving corps members are moulded to take up leadership positions, adding that all the challenges affecting service delivery would also be looked into carefully.
He lauded the efforts of Servicom office in ensuring that quality service delivery is given to all Nigerians in line with the change agenda of the present administration.
Earlier the acting national coordinator of Servicom, Mrs NnennaAkajemeli had disclosed that the agency would soon embark on visits to orientation camps to monitor the levels of service delivery.
“We will be going to the orientation camps to evaluate the performance of the NYSC in line with service delivery. We also want to be able to impute good moral attitude into the youths at the camps before they go into job markets. We want to be part of their orientation so as to increase culture of right attitude to work among the youths.”
