In the Lagos State neighborhood of Ikoyi, a seven-story skyscraper under construction has fallen on Banana Island.
The event took place on Wednesday just after 3 o’clock.
We deduced that the structure collapsed after several of the site’s construction employees had left for the day.
Yet because of the collapse, some of them were hurt.
The event was verified by Amodu Shakiri, the Lagos Fire Service and Rescue Service’s spokeswoman.
He said, “We got a call around 3:58 pm. We are currently trying to ascertain the claim that no one was under the rubble.”
