Nestlé Nigeria Plc has declared a 31.12 per cent growth in revenue for the quarter ended 31 March, 2016.
This was contained in a statement signed by Nestlé Company Secretary and Legal Adviser, Bode Ayeku, making public disclosure of the operational summary for the three months.
The percentage growth represents additional N8.575 billion to N27.556 billion Nestlé generated for the same operating period last year, 2015 as it now stood at N36.131 billion.
The gross profit of the company also soared by 45.90 per cent with increased N5.59 billion at the end of March, 2016 to stand at N17.781 billion as against N12.187 it ended the first quarter last year.
