Dubai would have set another record in construction with the planned commencement of building the world’s tallest tower – ‘The Tower at Dubai Creek” in June.
Construction of the tower, designed to be higher than the existing record-breaking skyscraper, the Burj Khalifa, would start in June and likely unveiled before Dubai hosts the World Expo in 2020.
The building was estimated to cost the government about $1 billion and would be a notch taller than Burj Khalifa which opened in January 2010 and stands at 828 meters high.
