Paint manufacturing firm, Berger Paints has released its first half results for the six months period ended 30th June 2017.
The results showed a 66 percent growth in profit after tax (PAT) at N99.0 million from N59.8 million in 2016.
Key extracts from the results showed that revenue increased 17 percent to N1.459 billion from N1.245 billion, profit before tax also rose 66 percent to N145.6 million from N87.9 million and shareholders’ funds dropped 1 percent to N2.567 billion from N2.604 billion.
The firm’s basic earnings per share increased to 34 kobo from 21 kobo while net assets per share stayed flat at 9 kobo per share.
