The consolidated income statement of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria, ANAN, has shown that as at December 31, 2015, the association’s revenue jumped from N2.62 billion recorded in 2014 to N2.97 billion.
President of the association, Anthony Chukwuemeka Nzom, who spoke at the sideline of the 34th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the association held in Abuja over the weekend said ANAN would assist the federal government in the preparation of 2017 budget.
Nzom said his members have visited the ministry of budget and national planning to state their readiness to assist in the preparation of next year’s budget.
He advised the federal government to be careful in drafting the 2017 budget as the assumptions on which the budget would be prepared may not reflect the year’s reality.
