The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has rejected the reported withdrawal of Presidential Candidate of the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN), Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, from the 2019 presidential race.
The electoral body said it was acting on the Electoral Act which stipulates that a candidate could only withdraw from the presidential race no less than 45 days to the date of elections.
