TBGC Rebrands Again To Dangote Flour Mills Plc

Tiger Branded Consumer Goods (TBGC) Plc has changed their name to Dangote Flour Mills Plc following a resolution passed by the co shareholders at annual general meeting held on April 7.

The said change of name was implemented by both Nigerian Stock Exchange and Central Securities Clearing System on July 25.

Tiger Branded Consumer Goods Plc (TBCG), formerly Dangote Flour Mills Plc, is a Nigeria-based company, which is engaged in the milling of wheat and production of wheat products.

The Company’s product portfolio includes bread flour, confectionery flour and pasta semolina. The Company operates through the Flour, Pasta and Noodles segments.

The Flour segment is engaged in milling and sale of bread and confectionery flour.

Earlier this year in February, Alhaji Aliko Dangote’s Dangote Industries Limited (DIL) acquired 65.6 per cent majority equity stake in Tiger Branded Consumer Goods (TBCG) Plc, from Tiger Brands Limited, the South African core investors.
