According to a statement by Tambuwal’s spokesman, Malam Imam Imam, the projects will come on stream while government continues with its earlier plan to establish cardiac and renal centres to ease the hardship of transporting patients for treatment to other countries.
He said in order to adequately preserve drugs and other items, the state government, in collaboration with USAID and other development agencies, recently renovated, equipped and commissioned two blocks of storage facilities at the State Central Medical Stores.
“Let me announce here that plans are at an advanced stage to launch emergency centers for treatment of road traffic accident cases along major highways in the State.
“As I have often said, healthcare delivery is one of the priority areas of this administration. As you may be aware, we have established the state primary healthcare development agency and brought all health facilities, staff and funding under one management unit.
