Power generation on Monday, March 28, fell further to 2,620 megawatts.Out of this, Ikeja Electric got 393.14MW, Abuja was allocated 301.40MW and Eko Electricity Distribution Company got 288.30MW.
Benin Electricity Company and Enugu Electricity Company got 235.88 each. Allocation to other distribution companies are as follows: Ibadan, 340.72MW, Jos, 144.15MW, Kano, 209.67 MW, Kaduna, 209.67MW, Port Harcourt, 170.36MW and Yola, 91.73MW.
While focus has been on fuel scarcity for some time now, power generation has continued to drop without any cogent reason from the supervising agencies.
