NNPC To Consider FCT On CSR Projects

PPMC LOSES

Group managing director (GMD), Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Dr Maikanti Baru has pledged that the corporation will consider communities within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) while siting corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects in future.

While receiving a delegation of FCT Council of Chiefs, led by its chairman, HRM Adamu Baba Yinusa, the NNPC GMD noted that as host of the corporate headquarters of the corporation, the FCT deserves prime consideration in the location of CSR projects.

In a statement signed by the Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division Garba Deen Muhammad, Baru stated that the corporation will continue to work within the limit of available resources to execute its mandates.

On the request by the chairman of the Council of Chiefs for the  construction of additional product depot in Abaji,  to ease the gridlock in Suleja depot and the need to intensify pipeline surveillance activities, he explained that the NNPC is open to suggestions and inputs from stakeholders that will help move the corporation forward.
