NIPOST New Delivery Logistics Will Boost Revenue

Nigeria Postal Service (NIPOST), in playing a transformational role in the way its businesses are served, has identified strategic and improved delivery logistics as one of the parameters for delivering on value promise and a major boost of national income.

Postmaster General of the Federation/CEO, Nigeria Postal Service, Barr. Bisi Adegbuyi, in his presentation at the on-going Universal Postal Union (UPU), World CEO Forum in Paris 2016, said NIPOST has identified the need to re-strategize on delivery logistics in Nigeria in order to compete favourably as obtained in the international postal standards.

It is no longer news that Nigeria is Africa’s biggest commerce market which is valued at approximately $13 Billion and growing by at least 25% annually.

Adegbuyi stated that strategic positioning of NIPOST in the fast evolving e-commerce competitive landscape has become inevitable if it must maintain its strong position in postal services in the world.

He further stated that Nigeria is poised to be a leader in the e-commerce arena and a strong contributor to the nation’s economy.
