For Monday, NiMet forecast patches of cloud over the northern region during the morning, followed by thunderstorms and moderate rain later in the day.

On Tuesday, the agency forecast patches of cloud over the northern region, with morning thunderstorms and light rain possible in parts of Borno, Gombe, Bauchi, Yobe, Taraba and Adamawa states. Thunderstorms with moderate rain were expected across most parts of the region later in the day.

The North-Central region was expected to remain cloudy, with morning thunderstorms and light rain in parts of Benue, Kogi, Plateau and Nasarawa states. NiMet forecast isolated thunderstorms with moderate rain across the region later in the day.

In the south, cloudy conditions and light rain were expected in parts of Ebonyi, Cross River, Rivers and Akwa Ibom states during the morning.

The agency forecast afternoon or evening thunderstorms with moderate rain across parts of Ekiti, Osun, Ogun, Ondo, Oyo, Edo, Enugu, Abia, Ebonyi, Imo, Anambra, Lagos, Delta, Bayelsa, Cross River, Akwa Ibom and Rivers states.

For Wednesday, NiMet forecast morning thunderstorms accompanied by moderate rain in parts of Taraba, Borno, Adamawa, Bauchi and Gombe states.

Most parts of the northern region were expected to experience thunderstorms with moderate rain later in the day.

In the North-Central region, cloudy skies were forecast, with morning thunderstorms and light rain possible in parts of Nasarawa and Plateau states. Moderate rain was expected across most of the region during the afternoon and evening.

The southern region was expected to remain cloudy, with intermittent light rain possible over parts of the South-East and coastal areas during the morning. NiMet forecast intermittent moderate rain across the region later in the day.
