NCC Tasked To Review Internet Speed

The Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Technology, Bayero University, Dr. Abdulwahab Lawan, has called on the National Communications Commission (NCC) to ensure that Internet Service Providers review internet speed within the provisions of the law.

Speaking at a stakeholders meeting organized by the NGO, Centre for Information, Technology and Development (CITAD) on Monday, Lawan called on the regulatory agency to ensure that Internet Service Providers operated within the ambit of acceptable limited quality of service agreement, to enhance service delivery.

He said it was necessary as internet service is a very important tool for Socio-economic development.
