The naira put up an abysmal performance at the parallel market on Wednesday, September 7, as traders sold N423 to one Dollar compared to N422 it was sold for Monday.
The Nigerian currency had on Tuesday, September 6, gained traction at the parallel market, as traders sold N422 to one dollar compared to N424 it was sold for Monday.
Meanwhile, the naira strengthened to the Pounds Sterling and Euro on Wednesday selling at N542 and N464 respectively compared to previous day’s rate of N545 and N465 respectively.
At the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, yesterday the naira was exchanged at the rate of N305 against the greenback N305, and was traded for one at Euro N342.7.
