Real Madrid went four points clear of hot rival Barcelona on the La Liga table on Sunday after thrashing Real Sociedad 3-0.
Though Sociedad had 59 per cent of possession overall, they were unable to convert several chances they had at goal.
Madrid however were more accurate inside the box.
Mateo Kovacic opened scoring in the 38th minute, with Cristiano Ronaldo doubling the advantage six minutes into the second half.
Alvaro Morata completely killed Sociedad with a third goal in the 82 minute, heading into the net a cross from Lucas Vazquez.
The third goal came eight minutes after Sociedad’s Inigo martinez was red carded.
Meanwhile, Barcelona only garnered a draw at Real Betis on Sunday.
