The Kebbi State Government has signed into law the Primary Health Care Development Bill after being passed by the Kebbi State House of Assembly and presented to Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu.
The State Commissioner of Information , Alhaji Musa Hassan Kalgo stated that the Primary Health Care Development Bill was signed into law by Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu following it passage by the State House of Assembly.
“ The Bill has now brought all the Primary Health Care institutions under Primary Health Care Development Agency for proper coordination and management,” he said.
Kalgo also announced that following the successful implementation of the CBN ‘Anchor Borrowers Programme ‘for rice and wheat production launched by President Buhari last year , the Kebbi State Government has contracted a private company to register additional farmers whom have not benefited from the scheme.
He also added that the private agricultural firm , CHAMS Nigeria limited has been mandated to go round all the 21 local government areas of the state to register interested farmers wishing to grow any type of crop and not necessarily rice.
