Kaduna Refinery To Pump Addition 1million Litres of Petrol Daily

The Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, has said the Kaduna Refinery will start pumping one million liters of Premium Motor Spirit, PMS, in addition to the two million it has been pumping on a daily basis from Tuesday, April 26.

Chief Operating Officer of the NNPC, Anibor Kragha made this known to newsmen while on a visit to Kaduna Refinery and Petrochemical Company, KRPC, on Thursday, April 28.

He said management of the NNPC is not happy with the hardship Nigerians are facing due to fuel scarcity and assured Nigerians that the agency is working hard to ensure steady supply of fuel.

“I’m here to see how the refinery is working and we are happy to tell you that as things are right now, we are going to release three million liters of PMS by tomorrow (today) Friday. We are concerned for what is happening in the country, we want to apologize to Nigerians on what they are facing,” he said.

Management of the Kaduna Refinery had on Tuesday promised to step up production to no less than two million liters a day.
