Three confirmed cases of the Omicron COVID-19 variant have been reported by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
This was contained in a statement by the Director-General of the NCDC, Ifedayo Adetifa, on Tuesday.
BizWatch Nigeria gathered that the new cases were detected in persons who have recent travel history to South Africa.
