Gospel singer, Victory Gbakara, on Sunday night, emerged winner of Nigerian Idol Season 8.
He defeated Precious Mac who emerged 1st runner up of the show to claim the N100 million grand prize, part of which is N35 million in cash, a brand new SUV, a record deal, all expense paid trip by TECNO, a refrigerator with one year supply of bigi drinks, one year supply of WAW detergent and one year fully installed DSTV EXPLORA.
Speaking shortly after emerging victorious, Victory thanked his fans for their support, stressing that they made his victory possible.
He said, “I don’t know what to say. But I want to say thank you. You made this happened. Thank you all so much. I love you. Thank you for making my dream come true.”
Gbakara brought the season to an end with a performance of Blessed by Wizkid.
